Tribulus terrestris (also known as tribulus terrestris) is a plant that is native to the tropics and subtropics and is used as a classic medicinal plant in traditional Chinese medicine. In the West, the plant, which grows mainly in Asia, Africa and southern Europe, is now used as a supplement in the bodybuilding and weight training scene. One tablet of TT® Ultra Strong from IronMaxx® contains 1600mg of Tribulus Terrestris extract, 1280mg of which are saponins. Saponins are naturally abundant in the Tribulus Terrestris plant. Tablets with Tribulus Terrestris extract often contain zinc, as zinc contributes to the maintenance of a normal testosterone level in the blood from a daily intake of 10mg. The TT® Ultra Strong tablets from IronMaxx® contain 15mg of zinc. This means that one tablet of this supplement per day covers the daily recommended intake. Zinc is of immense importance for the human body. Among other things, it contributes to normal cognitive function, normal fatty acid metabolism and the maintenance of normal bones.
