AAKG is the abbreviation for arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (or arginine α-ketoglutarate). The semi-essential and proteinogenic (protein- forming) amino acid L-arginine is the basis of the AAKG action. L-Arginine can be produced by our body, but it is supplemented by athletes in case of an increased demand, in order to improve the performance and the pump, to increase the blood circulation and vascularity and to support the lipid metabolism.
The L-arginine in the AAKG Ultra Strong has the highest amount of nitrogen of all proteinogenic amino acids. Alpha-ketoglutarate, on the other hand, is involved in nitrogen metabolism, including in transport. The nitrogen monoxide (NO) provides a bioactive molecule for the circulation-promoting effect. Circulation, oxygen and nutrient transport, among other things, of the muscles are thereby increased. Thus, the combination with L-arginine in the AAKG formula is an effective combination for an ultra-strong NO booster for your workout - convenient in tablet form.
